Life comes

Full circle again 

Purging what was

So a new

Journey can begin

Same ocean 

New person 

Different rhythm 

Forward motion

Same name 

Transmuted 

Fresh water 

Still polluted

Once here in youth 

Another in marriage 

Now this old bay

Greets me alone 

At one with Creator 

I embrace the unknown 

Naked 

Stripped of identity

All possessions gone

Loss of security 

The sun shines upon me

Cardinal virtues

In between worlds
